How DivyaSanyog collects, uses and protects your information

Last updated: 2 August 2026 · Applies to divyasanyog.com

Government ID. A matrimonial biodata asks for a scan of any government photo ID — not an Aadhaar number. Registering as a pandit does require an Aadhaar number, because a pandit is given the power to verify other people's biodata. Read section 4 before you upload anything: it explains exactly who can open that file and who cannot.
1. Who we are

DivyaSanyog is a spiritual and astrology platform offering Kundli generation, Kundli matching (Gun Milan), Panchang, pooja and consultation booking, pandit services and pandit-assisted matrimonial matching. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to info@divyasanyog.com.

2. What we collect

We only ask for what a given service actually needs.

When you…We collect
Generate a Kundli or use Kundli Matching Name, gender, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth, plus the chart and predictions computed from them.
Submit a matrimonial biodata Name, gender, date of birth, marital status, religion, caste, gotra, Manglik status, height, complexion, build, phone, email, city and state, native place, education, occupation, income range, parents' names and occupations, siblings, family type, diet, hobbies, a description, your partner preferences, a photograph, and — if you choose to provide one — a scan of a government photo ID. We do not ask a marriage-seeker for an Aadhaar number.
Register as a pandit Name, phone, email, photograph, date of birth, specialisations, years of experience, languages, city, state, address, Aadhaar number and a KYC document.
Book a pooja or a consultation Your name, contact details and the booking details you enter.
Send an enquiry or create an account The contact details and message you submit; for an account, a username and a password (stored only as a salted hash — we never see or store your actual password).
Simply visit the site Your IP address and request details in ordinary server logs, and a session cookie. The IP is used to apply per-visitor submission limits that stop automated flooding of our forms. We also measure which pages are visited using Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies in your browser — section 7 says exactly what it receives and what we hold back from it.
3. Your birth details never leave our server

This is worth stating plainly, because most astrology sites work the other way. All astrological calculation on DivyaSanyog — Kundli, divisional charts, dashas, Panchang, Ashtakoot Gun Milan, Manglik analysis — is performed entirely on our own server using the Swiss Ephemeris library. Your date, time and place of birth are not transmitted to any third-party astrology service, and no external API sees them.

4. Who can see your Aadhaar and ID documents

Identity documents are the most sensitive thing on this platform and are treated differently from every other upload. They are never published at a public file address. Each one is delivered only through a view that checks who is asking:

DocumentWho can open it
Matrimonial government photo ID Only the pandit that biodata was submitted to, and our staff. Other pandits — even approved ones who can see the profile in the matching pool — cannot open it.
Pandit KYC document Our staff only, because staff are who approve a pandit.

An Aadhaar number is collected only from pandits, for one purpose — to confirm a pandit is who he says he is before he is approved and given the power to verify other people's biodata. It is shown masked (last four digits only) on internal listing screens, and in full only on the single record being verified. We do not use it for anything else, we do not share it, and we do not ask a marriage-seeker for one at all.

5. How your matrimonial biodata is shared

A biodata does not become visible to anyone the moment you submit it. It goes first to a pandit for verification. Once verified, the profile enters a shared matching pool so that pandits can find compatible matches for their own clients — which means approved pandits other than your own can see your profile details, because that shared pool is what makes matching possible. Your ID document is not part of that; see section 4.

Your contact details are shared with the pandit handling your profile so that he can speak to you and take a match forward. If you do not want your biodata in a shared pool, do not submit one — the Kundli and Panchang services do not require it.

6. Kundli result links

Your Kundli result page is addressed by a long random token, not by a guessable number. Anyone holding that link can open that Kundli — so treat the link itself as private, and share it only with people you intend to show it to. Because that link is the only thing protecting the chart, it is deliberately withheld from our analytics: see section 7.

7. Third-party services

Loading our pages involves a small number of outside services:

We do not run advertising, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

8. Payments

DivyaSanyog does not currently charge for bookings, and no card or bank details are collected anywhere on this site. The Seva / Daan page shows a UPI ID for voluntary donations; if you choose to donate, that payment happens entirely inside your own UPI app and we never see your banking credentials. If paid services are introduced later, this page will be updated before they go live.

9. Email we send you

We use your email address to run the service, not to market to you — for example to tell a pandit his registration has been approved and give him his client code, to notify our staff that a biodata needs assigning, or to reply to an enquiry. We do not send promotional newsletters.

10. How long we keep it

Kundli records, biodata, pandit registrations and bookings are kept while your relationship with the platform continues, so that a pandit can act on them and you can return to a result. Identity documents are kept only as long as they are needed for verification. If you want your data removed, ask us (section 11) and we will delete it, except where we are required to keep something by law.

11. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your profile and documents, or withdraw a biodata from the matching pool. Write to info@divyasanyog.com from the email address on your record, or through our contact form, and tell us what you want done. We may need to verify who you are before acting, precisely because these records include identity documents.

12. Children

This platform is not intended for children. Matrimonial biodata may only be submitted for a person of legal marriageable age under Indian law.

13. Security, honestly stated

We take real measures: identity documents are permission-checked rather than publicly addressable, passwords are stored only as hashes, results are addressed by unguessable tokens, forms are rate-limited per visitor, and the site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If you believe you have found a security problem, please tell us at info@divyasanyog.com rather than making it public, and we will fix it.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who can see it, we will update this page and the date at the top. Where the Hindi rendering of this page differs from the English, the English version governs — the Hindi is produced by an automatic translation service.
